Student / Recent Graduate Resume Example
A fictional student / recent graduate resume in the real Minimal PDF design, with practical guidance on adapting it honestly.
By Resunivo Editorial · Oct 20, 2026 · 3 min read
Fictional candidate and illustrative achievements. Not a customer resume.
All candidate details, employers, qualifications and activities in this example are fictional. The document is an illustration of structure and wording, not a real customer outcome. Do not copy its facts into your own application.
What matters for a student / recent graduate
Label coursework, volunteering and personal projects honestly. Start with the requirements of the particular vacancy and choose the experience you can support. There is no single list of skills that makes every application suitable. The example uses a Minimal layout from the same PDF renderer as Resunivo Premium; your content and page count may differ.
A useful professional summary
Recent graduate with course-project experience analyzing public datasets and presenting findings in clear written reports.
The introduction names a field and observable activities rather than relying on “motivated” or “results-driven.” Adapt the pattern only with your actual background. If you are moving into this field, make the transition visible rather than claiming experience you have not gained.
Experience that can be checked
Cleaned a public transport dataset and documented missing values.
This fictional bullet identifies a task and context. It does not introduce a measured result, team size or qualification. Describe your individual contribution in a team project. When you do have a verified outcome, explain the baseline, timeframe and your contribution rather than adding a number without context.
Skills and supporting evidence
The example lists Python coursework, Spreadsheet analysis, Written presentations, Team projects. Those terms belong in your resume only if you can explain the relevant work or training. Distinguish classroom familiarity from professional responsibility. Where possible, connect a skill to an experience or project entry.
Common mistakes
- An expected degree is not a completed qualification.
- Keeping broad skill adjectives without evidence.
- Leaving dates detached from the relevant role or institution.
- Copying a fictional achievement because it sounds impressive.
- Using tiny type to fit unnecessary detail onto one page.
Adapt the structure, not the identity
Replace every fictional field with your own information. Check names, dates, qualifications and links. Follow the employer's format instructions and local conventions. Keep the relevant chronology clear; change section order only when it makes your actual background easier to understand.
Your next step
Your resume could look this clear, but it will not be identical: your facts, career stage and content determine the result. Upload your current resume to see what you can improve. Read How to Improve Your Resume in 2026 for a structured review.
